Transmigrated as the Hapless Island Master Obsessed with the Omega Heroine
Synopsis
Fu Zhao transmigrated into a novel, becoming the Island Master who shared her first and last name.
In the original story, the heroine, Shi Nan, was an S-class Omega with maximum charisma. She drove a cold CEO to obsession, made a wild superstar lose their mind, and had an arrogant scientist banging their head against the wall in desire.
The original Island Master, however, had secretly loved Shi Nan for eight years, choosing only to watch from the shadows. Despite having a legal engagement with Shi Nan, she quietly withdrew from the race for her heart because she was merely a Beta.
In the end, to protect Shi Nan, she not only willingly gifted her island—wealthy enough to rival nations—to her, but also met a tragic end by taking a knife meant for Shi Nan.
The new Fu Zhao, having transmigrated, resolved not to be a simp. She was determined to dedicate herself to her grassroots duties as a university-educated official developing the island.
Unexpectedly, Shi Nan came to her island anyway.
Fu Zhao offered to break the engagement, but the parents refused.
Fu Zhao offered to let Shi Nan leave, but Shi Nan looked up at her with amusement.
"I can leave, but you'll have to wait."
"Wait for what?"
"Wait until I've stayed long enough and want to go..." Shi Nan casually closed her book, her pale fingertips tapping lightly on the table. She gazed over with beautiful, misty eyes. "Then I'll leave naturally."
Forced into a corner, Fu Zhao had no choice but to adhere to the principles of hospitality.
There was a fugitive on the island, so she had to protect her guest, Shi Nan, at all times.
The islanders loved shipping them as a couple, so she had to maintain the dignity of their nominal engagement.
Suitors came to the island, so she had to flash her status as a fiancée to shield Shi Nan from trouble.
Fu Zhao expressed respect and understanding for her guest's reasonable requests and even arranged for guides to show Shi Nan all the unique scenery the island had to offer, fulfilling her duties as a host to the letter.
She was convinced she wouldn't end up like the original host—falling in love with Shi Nan and losing herself. She only wanted to protect her island, her assets, and her own heart.
But later, she accidentally failed to protect the nape of her neck. She was tackled by Shi Nan, who was in heat, and was accidentally bitten, ending up covered in blood.
When she woke up, she discovered she had differentiated into an Alpha.
Later, during her first Susceptibility Period, she was panicked and flustered. Just as she was scrambling to find an inhibitor, the fresh scent of lychee filled her nose.
In front of her, Shi Nan looked sly. She casually brushed back her hair and blinked, a bright, moving smile on her lips. Radiating a lethally sweet and cloying scent, she lowered her voice:
"I think I forgot to tell you..."
"I've already thrown away all your inhibitors."
It wasn't until Fu Zhao had spoiled Shi Nan into becoming the Lady of the Island that she realized the truth:
Shi Nan clearly remembered the frequency and rhythm of her pulse.
What Shi Nan needed during her heat wasn't pheromones, but Fu Zhao herself.
Shi Nan had come to the island this time specifically for her.
"She flees, she chases; there is no escape."
"Fu Zhao, would you willingly die for someone else?"
"No. Even if I died, I would still be unwilling."
