PANT - Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Su Tianxue never expected things to turn out like this.

She had only come to the hotel and pushed open this door because she had nowhere else to turn.

Her grandmother’s sudden, serious illness had already drained all the family’s savings, and her younger sister, who was still studying at an arts university, knew nothing about their grandmother’s condition. She had to support the entire family on her own. And she was just a postdoctoral researcher at a university, earning a fixed salary each month that wasn’t nearly enough to fill the financial hole her family was in.

Su Tianxue had searched online for fast, legal ways to make money and ended up finding an agent who arranged “special transactions.” The agent told her that her “ice queen” type was the most sought-after and that a certain young heiress was looking to experience a temporary marking. The price offered was very high, so they told her to give it a try.

Su Tianxue was hesitant.

She didn’t like women, and she especially disliked female Omegas. Moreover, she had never been intimate with anyone, nor had she ever been in love. Compared to people, she preferred science.

But now, she needed money.

When the hospital urged her to pay the fees yet again, she had no choice. After communicating with the agent, she received a room key card.

She figured that since she was taking someone’s money, she should do the job right—serve the other party well, make the girl happy, give her some pleasure. But she never expected the person to immediately press down on top of her, uttering words that made her feel ashamed, angry, and humiliated.

Su Tianxue’s face flushed red—not from shyness, but from anger.

“You’re an Alpha?”

She’d been tricked?

Shi Ning’s hands were braced on either side of the other woman, and for a moment, she didn’t quite react. She had just transmigrated and wasn’t yet familiar with the ABO settings and worldview. To be suddenly asked something like that in bed… Alpha? She might as well be Beta, Gamma, and throw in some rays too.

Su Tianxue frowned and reached out to push Shi Ning away.

Shi Ning let out a cold laugh, able to sense Su Tianxue’s emotions. The angrier and more arrogant she was, the more Shi Ning wanted to make this woman bow her head.

She could forgive the transmigration scam of a soft little sister turning into an ice queen.

But no matter what, she was going to see this plot through today. After all, following the plot is the duty of every transmigrator, isn’t it?

Shi Ning brushed aside Su Tianxue’s resisting hands, lowered her body, and whispered softly into her ear, “I’m your mommy, ever-changing.”

Su Tianxue raised her leg to kick this nonsense-spouting woman off her, but Shi Ning caught her by the calf and lifted the hem of her skirt.

“So, Miss Su, you like to play these kinds of games with me.” Her laughter carried a faint mockery. “Fine, I’ll play along.”

With a firm tug, Shi Ning pulled Su Tianxue flush against her body.

Su Tianxue let out a muffled grunt.

Shi Ning’s pheromones were the rich scent of the ocean. It wasn’t sweet, but carried an astringent quality, a feeling of freedom, yet also of dissoluteness. However, this sensation brought Su Tianxue no pleasure. Smelling the pheromones of a fellow Alpha was painful for her. It sparked an impulse to immediately get into a fight with this person. And being completely overpowered like this, she felt a sense of humiliation.

Su Tianxue’s eyes blazed with fire. “Let go of me.”

As Shi Ning restrained her, she thought to herself, maybe one of her three main principles should be “don’t touch another top.” Look at this—what should have been a night of passion had turned into a brawl. How exhausting.

Shi Ning tilted her head, deliberately provoking her. “And what if I don’t let go?”

Su Tianxue was so angry she could kill someone. She had never been bullied like this before. Right now, her hands and legs were pinned by Shi Ning. The other woman was slightly taller, stronger, and the sense of control and oppression in her pheromones was more potent. It seemed she was a purer-blooded Alpha. But even so, Su Tianxue was not one to admit defeat.

She decided to try reasoning with this madwoman first.

“Ma’am, I don’t know what kind of mistake has been made, but I am not an Omega, and I don’t like women… You’re an Alpha, and I’m an Alpha. Nothing can happen between us. Please calm down. Can you let me go first?” Su Tianxue did her best to suppress her anger, laying out the facts and reasoning with Shi Ning in the calmest tone she could manage.

To Shi Ning, this whole speech sounded like: Sorry, I’m not a lesbian, and I’m afraid of you.

How boring.

In this stupid ABO world, couldn’t two Alphas be together? What kind of nonsense was that?

Shi Ning really wanted to let go. She wasn’t the type to force people.

But…

She was unwilling.

A little unwilling.

The fire in her body burned hotter and hotter. The calmer the other woman’s eyes were, the more she wanted to do something.

So she tightened her grip, restraining the other woman, and said with a wicked smile, “Call me ‘Jiejie,’ and I’ll let you go.”

She knew this was a form of address the person before her would absolutely never accept.

Su Tianxue: “I’m twenty-eight.”

Shi Ning raised an eyebrow. “I’m twenty-eight too.”

Su Tianxue got serious. “My birthday is December 23rd.”

Shi Ning wanted to laugh but held it back. She lied with equal seriousness, “Mine is December 22nd.”

“I’m one day older than you. You should call me Jiejie.”

Hearing this, Su Tianxue knew she was being toyed with. Her eyes turned red with anger. Then, with a growl, she opened her mouth and bit down hard on Shi Ning’s neck.

Shi Ning sucked in a sharp breath. This woman’s bite was seriously vicious; her neck started bleeding immediately. The force in her hands slackened, and Su Tianxue instantly pushed her away, getting up to straighten her clothes.

Shi Ning collapsed onto the bed, covering her wound with one hand. She lifted her hand to look at it, then brought it to her nose to smell. The rich, metallic scent of blood was mingled with a faint hint of snow.

That was Su Tianxue’s scent.

She couldn’t help but lick her fingertips. The blood wasn’t sweet, but it made the fire inside her burn even hotter. She watched the woman’s retreating back and curled her lips into a smile. “You’re just going to leave like that? You don’t want the money anymore?”

Shi Ning was a smart person.

She could already guess that the person standing before her was not Su Wanxing.

Unless Su Wanxing’s body had been possessed.

No matter how unreliable this transmigration was, a problem like this shouldn’t occur, right?

The person before her was an Alpha and hadn’t denied being called Miss Su. Combining that with the character profile of Su Wanxing’s older sister, Su Tianxue, from the plot, she could roughly deduce that this was Su Tianxue.

For someone like her to come here, Shi Ning guessed there could only be one reason: she was desperate for money.

In the novel, Shi Ning and Su Wanxing had ended up together because Shi Ning was drugged. Su Wanxing helped her back to her room, and once the door closed, things became uncontrollable.

Someone like Su Tianxue, upon seeing her drugged, would probably just dump her on the roadside to die, right?

Thinking about how inexperienced she had seemed when she first arrived, Shi Ning guessed that this woman had probably never done anything like this before.

All those years of experience as a lawyer weren’t for nothing. Even now, with her body burning with desire, her mind could still work at lightning speed.

Shi Ning threw out an offer.

“Stay. Whatever the person who arranged this deal offered you, I’ll give you ten times that amount.”

Su Tianxue’s hand, in the middle of buttoning her clothes, froze.

If that was the case, it would be a hundred thousand.

She desperately wanted to leave, but her feet felt as if they were filled with lead. The thought of her parents being away, of her grandmother packing up her bookstall every day, taking her hand and limping home, and sitting with her on the balcony to identify the stars—that thought made it impossible for her to move.

Her grandmother only had her.

Su Tianxue stood frozen. A moment later, she turned to face Shi Ning, her eyes filled with what seemed like grim determination. “Fine. What do you want to do?”

Seeing her expression, as if she were marching to a heroic sacrifice, Shi Ning suddenly laughed.

It was truly the first time she had ever met a woman like this.

Turning making love into something like going to war.

She lay on the bed, tilted her head, and exposed the wound on her neck where Su Tianxue had just bitten her. “Miss Su, first, help me stop the bleeding.”

Su Tianxue grunted in acknowledgment and turned to look for a first-aid kit, but Shi Ning, with a hint of mischief, called out to her again. “I don’t want medicine. I want you.”
