BSS - Chapter 135

Chapter 135

The moment the words left her mouth, Xu Wei immediately felt the hand Deng Chuan had on her waist tighten.

Her waist grew hotter and hotter. Besides the movement of her hand, the Little Friend was still passionately sucking on her lower lip like a starving wolf, her wet tongue probing past her teeth to taste the inside of her mouth. Xu Wei was kissed until her hands felt weak. She simply opened her palm and gripped the back of the neck she was holding to get a more stable support.

The patch of skin under her hand had been touched by the night wind outside, making it cool to the touch. Xu Wei brushed aside Deng Chuan's hanging hair and felt a small, protruding bone on her cervical vertebra. The two of them embraced. The atmosphere was just right. The Little Friend's movements on her lips had tacitly slowed down. The pressure could be described as tender as water. Xu Wei was a bit dazed in such a gentle kiss. She wanted to reach out and hold the entire body connected to that hard bone, like a drowning person grabbing the last floating plank.

The light in the car was faint. The two of them were piled together, a bit cramped, with Xu Wei's back against the steering wheel. Deng Chuan released her lips and reached for the handle beside the seat to adjust its position.

Xu Wei was still catching her breath. Seeing the movement, she subconsciously straightened up and pressed down on her hand.

"No one's coming," Deng Chuan said, clasping her hand in return and pulling her into her arms, panting slightly. She reached out and adjusted the seat to its furthest back position. The space in front of the steering wheel grew larger, but the two of them still had to hold each other.

Perhaps because of the recent bout of kissing, Deng Chuan's emotions had calmed down considerably, and she wasn't so rushed anymore. After adjusting the seat, she held Xu Wei's waist and was quiet for a moment, her hand stroking Xu Wei's back intermittently. With her head slightly lowered, she soothingly kissed the shoulder, neck, and ear of the person in her arms.

Leaning on Deng Chuan's shoulder, Xu Wei smelled the clean scent from her body after washing up—it was the brand they always used together. This fact made Xu Wei's heart soften considerably. Deng Chuan buried her head in her neck, kissing her until she felt a little ticklish. Xu Wei's heart softened even more, and she couldn't help but raise a hand to rest it on her shoulder. The young body beneath her hand was warm and firm. Before her was the very real Deng Chuan. Realizing this, the composure Xu Wei had maintained all the way here finally shattered.

The Little Friend moved up from her neck, raising her head to bite her lip again. Xu Wei truly cherished this, moved by an irresistible passion. Following Deng Chuan's kiss, she let out some soft gasps from her throat.

The two of them were pressed tightly together, as if sharing breath and body heat. Xu Wei was once again kissed breathless by Deng Chuan. In the midst of their exchanging lips and tongues, Xu Wei half-opened her eyes and met Deng Chuan's extremely close eyelashes. They were thick and long, clearly visible, and trembled slightly with Deng Chuan's breathing.

Xu Wei was mesmerized. Deng Chuan sensed her lack of focus and opened her eyes to look. Caught off guard, Xu Wei was brushed by those half-opened lashes. A fine, dense tickle seemed to spread from her face all the way to her heart.

Seeing that Xu Wei was looking at her, Deng Chuan tightened her hold on her back and kissed her ear again.

After being in the car for a while, their eyes gradually adjusted to the darkness. Deng Chuan could even see the moonlight falling on the crown of Xu Wei's head, outlining the stray strands of hair by her ear with exceptional clarity. Out of habit, she raised a hand to tuck them back for her, her fingers brushing past a soft earlobe.

This time, Xu Wei lowered her head and said nothing, hooking an arm around her shoulder as if in silent agreement, and moved closer to the crook of her neck.

It was summer, yet both of them were sweating. Fortunately, the air conditioning was still on in the car. Beads of sweat by her ear rolled down her jaw and quickly evaporated on her skin.

The car was parked under a tree. A streetlight stood right beside it, its dim yellow light filtering into the car. Xu Wei couldn't help but lift her face. With her eyes closed, she could feel the streetlight's glow on her eyelids, a patch of dim brightness.

Of course, the car windows were closed, and she knew no one outside could see in, but Xu Wei still felt a little shy. She wrapped her arms around Deng Chuan's neck and could feel that Deng Chuan, on the other hand, was very excited. After a year apart, the Little Friend's movements had even become a bit clumsy, making her seem more rushed, more awkward. How could she be so cute. Xu Wei couldn't stop herself from inhaling sharply, yet she also felt like laughing. But at this moment, she held back the smile that rose to her lips and raised a hand to soothingly pat the back of the Little Friend's head.

She soon found she couldn't laugh anymore. Deng Chuan seemed to have finally remembered the ropes. Unconsciously, Xu Wei's hand on the back of her head gradually slipped down, changing to a firm grip on her shoulder. The force was a bit strong, Xu Wei's nails digging into her flesh, but Deng Chuan seemed completely unaware. She leaned down, nibbled on Xu Wei's ear, and turned her around.

The movement was unbelievably smooth. Now, Xu Wei was facing the unobstructed front windshield. Ahead was an empty sidewalk. Even though she knew they were both still fully clothed and it wouldn't look like anything from the outside, Xu Wei's face was burning. She lowered her head and saw the dashboard was lit up.

Deng Chuan moved closer, hugging her from behind. With one arm across her chest, she even had a free hand to reach out and turn the key down. The car's engine cut out, the dashboard in front of Xu Wei went dark, and the engine fell silent.

The air conditioning stopped. Sweat began to trickle from Xu Wei's temples again, flowing down her cheeks. It felt as if the air itself was scorching. Her dress clung to her body; Xu Wei felt as if she'd been drenched in water. Her lips were half-parted as she felt a familiar warmth, like being submerged in the sea. After a year apart, both of them were excited. The Little Friend's touch was a bit rough, lacking its usual measure. Xu Wei was leaning forward, one hand pressed against the steering wheel, which dug into her painfully. Deng Chuan keenly noticed her involuntary flinch and pulled her back a little.

"Baby." The pressing heat, the rapid breathing in the silence. Deng Chuan held her and spoke close to her ear. "I really, really missed you."

Xu Wei's chest heaved. She closed her eyes, sweat sliding down her eyelashes. She didn't answer her; she couldn't speak.

It wasn't until Deng Chuan finally let her go, pressed the brake to start the car again, and took the tissue box from the side to help wipe her sweat that Xu Wei leaned back as if drained of all strength, resting in Deng Chuan's arms and murmuring in reply, "Mm."

The two of them quietly savored the afterglow for a moment. Deng Chuan's fingers toyed with Xu Wei's wavy long hair, as if she'd finally remembered something was amiss. She lowered her head and, while tenderly kissing Xu Wei's ear, said, "Your new hairstyle is very pretty too."

Leaning in her arms with her eyes closed, Xu Wei laughed through her nose. The sight made Deng Chuan unable to resist kissing her again. The two of them clung to each other, kissing for quite a while longer, until the air conditioning breeze began to feel a little cold on their sweaty skin, and they finally decided to head home.

Deng Chuan cupped Xu Wei's face, their noses touching, and rubbed them together affectionately. "Let me drive. You can go rest in the back for a bit."

Xu Wei grunted, pinched her cheek, and forced her to turn her head to look back.

In the light of the streetlamp, Deng Chuan could vaguely see a large, wrapped bouquet of flowers on the back seat. So that was the source of the floral scent when she opened the door. Deng Chuan couldn't help but lift the corners of her lips, her delight so obvious it made Xu Wei want to laugh.

"Get out of the car," Xu Wei said, deliberately putting on a stern face. "Go rest in the back seat."

Deng Chuan hugged her tightly, pressing against her bare collarbone and shaking her head.

In the end, Xu Wei drove. The Little Friend sat in the back seat, gleefully hugging the flowers, sniffing them one by one, not even speaking anymore.

The journey back seemed especially short because of the bouquet. Deng Chuan felt as if only a short time had passed before the car was already pulling into her familiar residential complex.

Xu Wei unbuckled her seatbelt, opened the back door, and pulled out the Little Friend, who was still hugging the flowers. The Little Friend had one arm around the flowers and used the other to hug her, and Xu Wei let her. Fortunately, in the middle of the night, their footsteps were the only sound in the underground garage; no one passed by to see their improper embrace.

She had clearly just showered, but going out had made her break out in a sweat again. Xu Wei opened the closet to find the clothes Deng Chuan had left there a year ago. Everything was exactly as she remembered. The clothes were neatly folded, lying quietly in the space she had originally cleared out for Deng Chuan.

A wonderful sense of peace washed over Xu Wei. She walked out of the room with the clothes and saw Deng Chuan sitting on the living room floor. Zhou Liu and Juzi had already recognized who she was and were enthusiastically nestled in her lap, each vying for her affection.

Deng Chuan gave them equal attention, kissing each one and rubbing her cheek against each one. In the midst of their happy commotion, she looked up and saw Xu Wei standing not far away, and immediately broke into a silly grin.

Xu Wei shook her head, amused. She walked over, pulled the two cats out one by one, and stuffed the clothes into her arms. "You're all sweaty. Go take a shower."

Deng Chuan cheekily moved closer to the crook of Xu Wei's neck, sniffing. "You smell nice." She then raised her hand to sniff herself. "I'm not that stinky either."

After a year apart, she'd become much more talkative. Xu Wei gave her a push. The Little Friend immediately straightened up and said seriously, "I'm going right now!" Before the words were even out, she planted another loud kiss on Xu Wei's face. "Mmm… still so fragrant."

Seeing the corners of Xu Wei's mouth turn down, she immediately scurried away.

Zhou Liu and Juzi didn't understand what was happening and thought they were playing, so they dashed after her heels.

It was like a gust of wind had passed through. Once Deng Chuan left, the living room was suddenly empty and incredibly quiet. Xu Wei stood where she was and unconsciously looked up at the clock on the wall. It was almost five in the morning.

She couldn't help but smile, then walked into the other bathroom to take another shower herself.

When Deng Chuan came out of the shower, the air conditioning was already on in the room, and a cool breeze greeted her. Xu Wei wasn't there. Zhou Liu and Juzi were lying on the bed. Hearing the door open, they lifted their heads to look at her.

Deng Chuan met their two pairs of round eyes, and her heart melted. She was in such a good mood at that moment that she couldn't resist flopping onto Xu Wei's bed and rolling around several times, just like she had in her room in England a few days ago. The bedding, the air—everything was filled with that familiar scent. Deng Chuan raised her hands, covered her face, and laughed foolishly for a while. Then she gathered Zhou Liu and Juzi into her arms, burying her face in their warm bellies and kissing them again and again.

After fooling around for a while, Deng Chuan's excitement finally began to subside. She leaned over, reaching for the phone she had just placed on the nightstand.

She didn't find her phone. Instead, she suddenly saw a gift box placed by Xu Wei's pillow. Deng Chuan stared at it in confusion for a moment before remembering from a memory that was already starting to fade—this was the birthday present Xu Wei had prepared for her.

The gift box was tied with a pretty bow. Deng Chuan stared at it, thinking single-mindedly that since it was her birthday present, it would be perfectly reasonable for her to open it.

She had just reached out and touched a corner of the box when the bedroom door clicked. Deng Chuan whipped her head around like lightning. With water droplets still on her face and smelling fragrant all over, Xu Wei had finally arrived, smiling as she looked at her.
