DDT - Chapter 132

Chapter 132: Interstellar ABO (17)

The Controller stood leisurely before Yi Shuhan and Chi Junluo. In his eyes, these two wastes with no combat ability posed no threat to him whatsoever. He could easily subdue these two weaklings by himself, to say nothing of the fact that he had brought so many armed subordinates with him.

"Have you thought it over?" The Controller wasn't the least bit intimidated, letting their gazes fix on him. It wasn't like their stares could burn a hole through him; he had nothing to fear.

The Controller had abducted countless Omegas in his life. He prided himself on having seen all sorts of Omegas and their Alphas. What kind of person hadn't he encountered?

There were the timid, cowardly Omegas who would faint at such a sight, only waking up long after he had marked them. There were the pragmatic Omegas who, seeing their lives threatened, would simply go along with his wishes; though a little unwilling, they would accept their fate. And then there were the fiercely defiant Omegas who would rather die. He would forcibly restrain them with his mental power. Because they didn't submit to his will, these defiant Omegas, once his pheromones on them faded, were often tossed to his subordinates. In the end, they either died or went mad. He never paid them any more mind. Big Fatty would handle the aftermath for him, leaving no trace behind.

In the Controller's experience, Omegas like Yi Shuhan belonged to the type that couldn't accept it at first but would eventually become submissive. It had been a long time since he had tasted such a fresh, beautiful Omega. Just looking at Yi Shuhan, he could already picture her lying stark naked before him.

Seeing the greedy glint in the Controller's eyes, Yi Shuhan, who spent her years doing research in a lab, didn't grasp the deeper meaning, but she knew these people were brimming with malice.

Chi Junluo was different. She understood perfectly what the emotion in these men's eyes meant. A leopard can't change its spots, after all.

A wave of fury surged within Chi Junluo. It came on suddenly, as if something of hers was being coveted by others. Given the grave situation, she had no time to analyze whether this fury was the original body's possessiveness or something else.

Looking at the gun-like weapons in their hands, Chi Junluo thought to herself that the technology in this world was far more advanced. In the previous world, she had been unavoidably injured during a mission even while using the Power of the Heavenly Dao. While the Power of the Heavenly Dao could block some damage, it clearly wasn't omnipotent.

If they really opened fire, the Power of the Heavenly Dao alone probably wouldn't be enough to stop it. It didn't matter if she got hurt, but the Omega in front of her absolutely could not!

This thought immediately surprised her. She vaguely felt that something was wrong, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Her brow furrowed under the mask. Once she followed this Yi Family Omega back to the Main Star, she had to find a way to visit the original body's former residence. Perhaps she could find some answers she was looking for in the traces of the original body's life. For now, the most urgent matter was to deal with these annoying pests.

Yi Shuhan, however, was not the least bit flustered. How could an Omega traveling alone not be prepared to protect herself?

The weapons possessed by the people on these remote, second-class planets were child's play in the eyes of an expert in military arms research like her. They held no deterrent power at all. The protective gear she wore couldn't even be breached by a military mecha in a single blow, let alone these outdated weapons.

These bandit leaders on second-class planets were probably having their imaginations limited by poverty. If Chi Junluo knew what Yi Shuhan was thinking right now, she would surely recall a saying from her original world: you never know just how happy the rich truly are.

The second-class planets in the Western Star Region were far from the center of power. Due to their scarce resources, the people of the central star region couldn't be bothered to waste energy managing them. The Controller had run rampant on Moon Star for so long that almost the entire southern hemisphere was under his control. After being the "old emperor" for so many years, he had long forgotten the rules and laws of the Alliance. He had gotten away with his evil deeds for so many years, his luck always holding out, so he had never suffered a setback. Naturally, he had no idea what kind of hornet's nest he had just kicked. On Moon Star, the Controller was someone ordinary families would never dare to offend. And in the entire Blue Star Alliance, the Main Star of the central star region was something people from other star regions dared not offend. And the central power of the Main Star, the Yi Family, was even less of a force that scum like these could afford to provoke. Yi Shuhan secretly shook her head. Whether it was this group of bandits on Moon Star with their unclear motives and ill intentions, or those aristocratic families on the Main Star who wanted to carve up the Yi Family, they all shared a common flaw: they were too overconfident to investigate what kind of opponent they were about to offend. And the consequence of such blind confidence was ruin. Yi Shuhan had already activated the protective device developed by the Yi Family. Even the Controller, with his SS-class mental power, could only sense a fluctuation of energy in the surroundings, without understanding what was happening. Chi Junluo's mental power had not yet recovered, so naturally, she couldn't detect it either. She glanced around and saw about thirty people. Wasn't she just a useless waste with brain damage? Was bringing so many people being overly cautious? The Controller was indeed careful in these matters, but ultimately, he was a bit too hasty.

Yi Shuhan raised her hand to look at her light screen. It showed the connection was severed. This place either had no Star Network base station, or a jammer had been installed.

Seeing that the two remained silent, the Controller's face darkened. "Stop stalling. It's useless. You can't even send out the most basic distress signal from here. You might as well come with me obediently. At least I'll let you live."

Chi Junluo raised her hands and flexed her wrists. Her sleeves pulled up slightly, revealing the golden pattern on her left wrist. After so many strange worlds, her way of thinking had slowly changed. Besides, she had already killed people in her original world, and in the last world, she had taken the heads of enemy soldiers during missions. She didn't mind getting her hands dirty in these worlds that had no real connection to her. Since they dared to harbor improper thoughts in her presence, they shouldn't blame her for being ruthless.

Seeing the female Alpha in the silver-white mask raise her hands, the Controller raised an eyebrow. He didn't think a crippled Alpha, an Alpha with no mental power, could do anything shocking.

Indeed, Chi Junluo couldn't use the most common power in this world, mental power. But with her own strength, plus the vast amount of the Power of the Heavenly Dao accumulated from previous worlds, she didn't even spare a glance for these mere ants.

No one noticed the faint blue light that flickered in the depths of Chi Junluo's eyes. Yi Shuhan had been ready to protect her Chi Chi and release her mecha from her Space Storage Device to give these clueless fools a good thrashing. But then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw Chi Chi raise her hand first. Yi Shuhan immediately stopped. Perhaps her Chi Chi wanted to do something?

Then, everyone present witnessed what could be called an unforgettable scene. A golden light, like a flame, ignited on Chi Junluo's body. Powerful energy flickered and shifted around her, breathing and pulsing as if it were alive. In just a few breaths, it completely engulfed her, burning fiercely. Beneath the blazing "golden flames," one could still see the silver-white mask Yi Shuhan had personally made for her, and below the mask, the deep, serene blue of her eyes.

The Controller couldn't help but stare into the depths of those eyes. Even though the burning, golden, flame-like energy was incredibly blinding, he could no longer control his gaze.

These were not eyes a human could possess. Within them, insane vortexes seemed to spin. The Controller had once watched a video on the Star Network, filmed by an Alliance explorer in a distant star region, of a black hole devouring everything. He had been stunned then, but now, he felt as if the black hole was right in front of him, and he could be torn to shreds at any moment.

For the first time, a look of terror uncontrollably crept onto the Controller's face. Relying on his superior mental power, he forcefully tore himself away from that terrifying vortex. He whipped his head aside, stumbled back a few steps, and screamed, "Kill her for me!"

His subordinates, who had been staring in a daze, finally snapped back to reality. Looking at Chi Junluo, who no longer looked human, they pulled their triggers without hesitation. Dozens of streams of destructive energy shot madly toward the golden figure. The Controller watched from the corner of his eye, hoping this monster would be blown to pieces, her blood splattering everywhere.

But the roaring cluster of energy vanished without a trace the moment it entered the golden flames. Chi Junluo flexed her body and, under the terrified gazes of everyone, walked straight toward the Controller.

If that crybaby Heavenly Dao named E Feng had been present, he would have scoffed at these overconfident bandits from a second-class planet. How could the energy attacks produced by their backward technology possibly compare to the source energy of infinite worlds?

Seeing the Alpha who had suddenly turned into a monster still moving freely, the Controller's men fired desperately. The particle guns in their hands continuously shot out surging energy. For a moment, the violent, concentrated energy even changed the surrounding air pressure. Several of the men's guns were already glowing red and overheating from the massive, frantic output. Then, they watched with wide eyes as the golden figure walked right up to their boss.

Yi Shuhan's eyes also widened in surprise. She knew her Chi Chi had many secrets. She had tried to ask before, but unfortunately, she couldn't get anything out of her. Sometimes, her Chi Chi didn't even understand the strange secrets about herself.

Yi Shuhan wasn't the type of person who was full of curiosity and needed to get to the bottom of others' secrets, so she didn't press further. She just knew that Chi Chi possessed a powerful force that even the Alliance couldn't explain. As for how powerful it was, she had never witnessed it and couldn't say for sure. But now she knew. Under such a high-intensity energy output, a quantitative change had produced a qualitative one. Yi Shuhan had originally planned to just hold them off for a while, then reveal her mecha and happily escape with Chi Chi from this group of fools. She never expected that Chi Chi, with her severely damaged brain and inability to use mental power, could still command such immense strength. This was something that the science of this era simply couldn't explain!

The Controller watched as the monster in the silver-white mask, wreathed in golden flames, drew near. Although the air hadn't changed much, he felt the oppressive pressure of a sea of fire rushing toward him. The terror rising from the depths of his soul was about to drive him mad. His heart pounded faster and faster. He tried to move his feet to retreat, but they seemed to have taken root, unable to move even half a step.

The feeling was like being caught in the high beams of a large truck hurtling toward you. In that instant, you can only be choked by immense fear, with no extra energy to do anything else, not even to stumble to the side.

Beads of sweat as large as beans dripped from the Controller's head. The pressure generated by the powerful energy made his eyes bloodshot. Because the two were now too close, his subordinates had to stop their attack. They stood there, at a loss, not knowing what to do. Some of the more cowardly subordinates already had the thought of retreating. The surrounding circle was secretly expanding as several men prepared to flee. Staying here was clearly not a wise decision.

The Controller let out a roar, and his SS-class mental power erupted from his body. The majestic mental power burst forth with him at the center, coalescing into a solid psychic spike that stabbed toward Chi Junluo. The Controller remembered that this Alpha's mental power was equivalent to trash. Since physical energy couldn't harm her, what about a non-physical mental attack?

Could she possibly resist it?

The Controller decided to stake everything on this one move. If he won, he would live and get the beautiful young Omega. If he failed…

The golden energy instantly exploded forward. In less than a second, it completely engulfed the towering Alpha. His subordinates only heard the agonizing screams of their invincible and powerful boss from within the golden flames. Then, the flames vanished into thin air, leaving nothing behind, not even a speck of ash.

The golden Chi Chi turned around, the flames on her body slightly diminished. Her exquisite silver-white mask and the uncovered part of her face were revealed. Chi Junluo's lips curved into a faint smile. Yi Shuhan was captivated. She had never been so madly infatuated with someone before. Such a beautiful smile, yet so detached, so cold, it made one's heart pound wildly.

This domineering and indifferent Chi Chi was different from her memory, yet at the same time, as familiar as a memory from somewhere unknown.

She had only known Chi Chi for seven or eight years and had only realized her own feelings two days ago. But why, at this moment, did she feel as if she had been in unrequited love for many years? That insane possessiveness of wanting something she couldn't have… Realizing this crazy thought in her heart, Yi Shuhan was shocked. How could she have such an idea: if I can't have it, I might as well destroy it.

In the brief moment Yi Shuhan was stunned, the golden flames had already spread into a sea of fire, surrounding everyone present, carefully leaving a space around Yi Shuhan.

Everyone present heard a somewhat ethereal, beautiful female voice utter words that were not so beautiful, "I have purified the trash."

"Next, no one will escape."

Though there was no wind, the fire suddenly surged. In the span of two breaths, all the golden flames abruptly vanished from the air. The surroundings fell silent; not a single sound could be heard. Everyone had been "purified."

Yi Shuhan watched as the flames on Chi Chi's body disappeared bit by bit, and the blue light faded from the depths of her eyes.

Chi Junluo slowly came back to her senses. Just now, she seemed to have been in a strange state, as if she had become another person she didn't recognize. It wasn't like her, yet that way of speaking and thinking felt completely natural, not surprising at all.

Seeing the Yi Family's Omega girl with a shimmering gaze not far away, Chi Junluo habitually scratched her head. Yi Shuhan didn't say much. Now was clearly not a good time for questions. She was just glad Chi Chi had cleared away the trouble. Yi Shuhan couldn't care less how many people had died. They had brought it on themselves.

Neither of them felt any psychological burden. Yi Shuhan released her mecha. After taking the spare energy source from the Space Storage Device on Chi Chi's wrist, they both boarded the mecha and flew toward the Main Star.

Although their departure from Moon Star was delayed, at least the return journey was smooth. As for what kind of chaos would erupt in Moon Star's southern hemisphere after its most powerful leader mysteriously disappeared, that was not their concern.

The journey was incredibly fast. This was the first time Chi Junluo had flown through space so directly. Through the mecha's viewport, Chi Junluo had a truly perfect and immersive experience of flying through the cosmos. Stars of various colors streaked past them at high speed. The mecha's flight path was a calculated, safe route. Seeing Chi Chi curiously plastered to the window, watching nonstop, Yi Shuhan acted as a simple tour guide. As they neared the Main Star, she even demonstrated her latest research achievement for Chi Junluo: Quick Space Jump.

Quick Space Jump required no waiting. The moment Yi Shuhan gave the command, the mecha instantly vanished from space.

The Main Star's space monitoring bureau once again detected a spatial fluctuation within the Yi Family's jurisdiction. The monitor cursed under his breath. The Yi Family was nothing but trouble. Then, just like before, he deleted the record and pretended he had seen nothing.

The mecha only shuddered slightly before appearing in the sky above Yi Shuhan's private research institute. The institute was as quiet as ever. Without alerting anyone, Yi Shuhan had secretly brought the Alliance's Admiral Chi back to the Main Star.

The mecha slowly flew into the research lab and parked in its usual spot. Yi Shuhan excitedly pulled Chi Junluo out of the mecha and temporarily settled her in her personal lounge. She ordered a robot assistant to fetch Chi Chi's favorite drink from the cold storage, then turned and left the lounge to send a message to her father, Yi Jun, the head of the Yi Family, informing him of her and Admiral Chi's safe and secret return.
