IVYSCP - Chapter 139

Chapter 139

With a graceful turn, Ling Qingyue lay down and rested her head on Pei Yin's lap, idly winding loose strands of hair around her finger.

Glancing up and seeing Pei Yin's lips still pressed tight in a look of discomfort, she reached up, hooked an arm around the woman's neck, and pulled her down to meet her eyes. "How come you didn't seem shy at all in the Water Mirror?"

"Don't tease me." Pei Yin raised a hand and carefully supported her waist.

Ling Qingyue was thoroughly amused. She rubbed her forehead against the crook of Pei Yin's neck, then suddenly took a deep breath and buried her face there, her voice muffled. "I missed you so much."

They hadn't seen each other for so many days.

A smile spread across Pei Yin's lips. Her palm brushed over the back of Ling Qingyue's head and gave a gentle rub. "I missed you too."

"What made Senior Chu so willing to let you come back this time?" Ling Qingyue asked, her hands growing restless as she spoke. By the time the words were out, her fingers were already working their way into Pei Yin's lapels.

"I slipped away on my own."

After answering, Pei Yin cast her eyes down at those hands. "We're still outdoors," she said quietly.

"There's no one else here. Pei Xi is probably going to sleep for seven or eight more days. Set up a barrier and no one will come anywhere near." Ling Qingyue had already loosened Pei Yin's lapels, exposing a long, graceful neck and elegant collarbones. She couldn't hold herself back from leaning in for a few bites.

"Absolutely reckless..."

Pei Yin tilted her body back, bracing one hand against the woolen blanket spread across the ground. Pale golden spiritual energy shot upward into the air and imprinted a seal, and a formation that allowed no spying or probing sealed off the entire waterside pavilion.

The pavilion floor had been covered with a single large blanket woven from the finest snow rabbit fur.

Ling Qingyue took advantage of the moment to push her down, hands planted on either side, eyes fixed directly on Pei Yin. "I don't want to wait until tonight."

Pei Yin's long hair spread out around her, snow-white skin and jet-black hair exuding refined allure, yet her expression remained so cool and restrained. Just looking at her made Ling Qingyue want to unsettle her completely.

"I wasn't joking earlier," Ling Qingyue said, leaning close to Pei Yin's ear. "I really do want to see it. Won't you play around a little and let me watch?"

"Alright." Pei Yin agreed with startling readiness.

Ling Qingyue had not expected this. She froze for a split second, and in that split second, the world spun around her. The one pinned beneath became her, and Pei Yin seized both of her wrists in one hand, a smile on her face.

"Pei Yin!" Ling Qingyue began to struggle. "You, you just promised me!"

"That's right, I did promise you." Pei Yin pulled her up and held her from behind in an embrace, the same teasing tone now delivered next to Ling Qingyue's ear. "I'll play around a little with you."

"That's not what I said!"

Ling Qingyue felt a dense, tingling numbness spreading from behind her ear all the way down to her lower back, nearly making her knees buckle.

Pei Yin gave a soft laugh. "Aren't you curious how I do it? I'll show you right now."

Ling Qingyue was so angry she wanted to bite her. Out of the corner of her eye she glanced at the tea table. The spot where Jiuge usually rested was now empty.

"???"

"Where did you send Jiuge?"

"When I raised the barrier just now, I told her to go play outside for a while," Pei Yin answered, undoing Ling Qingyue's sash as she spoke.

Ling Qingyue ground her teeth. "Immortal Venerable, how very cunning!"

Pei Yin kissed the side of her neck in a trail of light pecks. With a wave of her hand toward the tea table, ripples spread across the Water Mirror's surface before resolving into an image of the two of them in their current state.

Ling Qingyue lifted her eyes for a look and immediately turned her head away, refusing to look further. The Water Mirror had not merely reflected their figures. It was casting back the entire scene within the pavilion, everything visible in perfect clarity.

In the mirror, her robes were rumpled and disheveled, her face flushed red as sunset clouds, her whole body half-cradled in Pei Yin's arms.

"Didn't Qingyue want to watch? Why aren't you looking now?" Pei Yin gathered Ling Qingyue close and slowly sat down, settling her so she leaned back against her.

Ling Qingyue's lashes fluttered without stopping, her breathing already a tangled mess. Pei Yin's mastery of formations was supreme, and her fingers were just as deft. Now they traced lightly over Ling Qingyue's body, each stroke perfectly judged.

"Qingyue, take a look."

Pei Yin pulled down the fabric at the back of her neck and kissed Ling Qingyue's shoulder blade, watching her through the mirror.

Ling Qingyue did finally raise her eyes, the corners already blooming crimson.

"This is what I do, when I miss you."

Pei Yin's hands worked to peel her free of her robes. Ling Qingyue's hair was not as long as Pei Yin's, there was nothing to cover her.

"Like this."

Fingers circled over her heart, and Ling Qingyue bit down on her lower lip, swallowing the murmur that tried to escape.

"Don't bite yourself." Pei Yin kissed behind her ear. "The barrier is up. No one will come. It's fine if you cry out."

Slender fingers caressed her lips, then with a slight pressure slid inside.

"Mm..."

Ling Qingyue's lashes grew damp. Now that Pei Yin had put her fingers near her mouth, she suddenly couldn't bear to bite them.

Fingertips pressed against her tongue, deliberately coaxing out the sounds hidden in her throat.

Ling Qingyue couldn't hold back broken, tearful whimpers. She suspected Pei Yin was getting revenge on her because she had discovered her little secret.

And the skin of this body was so exquisitely tender, the slightest pressure left red marks.

Looking at the crisscrossing vivid red finger marks on her own body in the mirror, Ling Qingyue grew even more convinced of her theory.

"Qingyue." Pei Yin's breathing had also grown a little uneven. "Open them a little."

A light caress met her waist and stomach. Ling Qingyue understood the hint, but clenched her teeth and refused to move.

"Isn't this uncomfortable? I can't bear to see you uncomfortable." Pei Yin's tone was so considerate.

Then Ling Qingyue felt something coil around her leg.

She looked down.

The God-Striking Whip.

"Pei... mm, Pei Yin, you... you... shameless!" Ling Qingyue's words came out muffled and indistinct.

To throw Jiuge outside, and then use the God-Striking Whip on her.

Pei Yin rested her chin on Ling Qingyue's shoulder, gaze fixed forward on the debauched scene in the mirror.

"Qingyue, why have you stopped looking?" Pei Yin tilted her head and kissed her cheek. "Look, it's trembling."

Ling Qingyue forced herself to glance over. Between pale fingers bloomed vivid crimson petals, each petal beaded with dew as though drenched in spring rain.

The sight before her made her flush hot with embarrassment. Ling Qingyue deeply regretted every teasing remark she had made to Pei Yin.

Everyone who studied formations had a black heart. And Pei Yin was the blackest of the black. How could she ever outplay her.

"Does it look nice?"

Pei Yin released her lips and tongue, cradled her face, and kissed her. The kiss was so gentle, so tender.

Kissed so sweetly that she felt utterly content, all the irritation in Ling Qingyue's heart scattered without a trace. Pei Yin might be shameless and beyond all decency, but in this she was always so gentle with her, and Ling Qingyue loved that.

From passive acceptance to seeking the kiss herself, at some point the binding on her hands had disappeared without Ling Qingyue even noticing. She instinctively shifted sideways, reached up to wrap her arms around the woman's neck, and kissed her even deeper.

When it was over and she trembled in Pei Yin's arms, Ling Qingyue gasped for breath, teardrops still clinging to her lashes. Little by little, Demonic Markings began to spread outward from her heart.

Ever since Gu Huai had developed the medicinal pill that could suppress demonic aura, her markings had not appeared for a very long time.

"Pei Yin..." Ling Qingyue clutched at Pei Yin's robes, still hanging from the woman's body. Her voice came out weak. "Just you wait, I'll pay you back for this."

Pei Yin ducked her head and kissed her lips, a smile in her eyes. "Alright."

"Let's continue."
