IVYSCP - Chapter 117
Chapter 117
"Mm… wait, wait a moment…"
Ling Qingyue caught Pei Yin's wrist and halted her movements, the outer corners of her eyes already flushed deep red. Deep within her stark black-and-white pupils, a searing desire was brewing.
Pei Yin's breathing was slightly unsteady, her clear, shallow eyes now glistening and damp.
She asked in a hoarse voice, "What is it?"
Ling Qingyue sat straddling Pei Yin, her robes layered and bunched around her waist like a lotus in full bloom, her entire body faintly pink from the heat. She kissed Pei Yin's eyes and asked, "Right now, do you still think I'm a dream?"
What dream could be this real, this… unrestrained.
Pei Yin's wrist was held, unable to move in and out, but the slight curling of her fingertips was still enough to make the person before her let out soft moans and tremble.
"Don't, don't move!" Ling Qingyue glared at her, embarrassed and annoyed.
Pei Yin intimately nudged the tip of her nose lightly against Ling Qingyue's and chuckled softly. "I don't know whether this is a dream either. You have to let me feel it properly to find out. Also, I'm not moving. Clearly, it's you who can't bear for me to leave and keeps biting my fingers."
Ling Qingyue instantly felt heat rushing to her face, nearly steaming herself. She didn't dare look at Pei Yin and spoke incoherently, "You, what nonsense are you talking?!"
How was she biting Pei Yin? How could Pei Yin say something so mortifying?!
"No?" Pei Yin's expression was puzzled. "But I clearly feel…"
Her voice dropped lower. Ling Qingyue was straining to listen carefully to what she was saying, only for Pei Yin to secretly do something wicked and press heavily against a certain spot.
A soreness shot through her lower back and she trembled sharply. Ling Qingyue could not help but let out a soft moan, then lowered her head and sank her teeth into Pei Yin's shoulder.
A malicious laugh sounded beside her ear: "See, you bit me. Bit me twice, too, and won't let go."
Ling Qingyue could not even lift her head. She ground her teeth against the skin of Pei Yin's shoulder, the sensation of being suspended in midair and left hanging dreadfully unbearable. She shifted her legs, silently hinting at Pei Yin.
Pei Yin saw that sweat had beaded on her forehead and whispered a reminder: "Then let go of my wrist."
Ling Qingyue pulled her hand back as if burned, then pressed her palm against the woman's waist. At one moment, she suddenly gripped hard, then restrained herself and loosened her hold, stroking back and forth across that spot.
Ever since they had returned, they had gone straight into the room, unconcerned with how Qiu Feng and Yu Liuli were doing. Pei Xi had also been casually tossed to Xue Zizai.
They had tumbled about until deep into the night. Ling Qingyue lay still as Pei Yin helped clean her up. After using magic, Pei Yin still carefully wiped across Ling Qingyue's lips with a cloth.
During that last time, Ling Qingyue had pleased Pei Yin with her mouth.
"Tired?" Pei Yin put away the cloth and pulled the person into her arms.
The feeling of skin pressed to skin was too wonderful, warm and soft and fragrant, too precious to let go of.
Ling Qingyue drew a deep breath, her tone carrying the satiated contentment of having eaten and drunk one's fill, and sighed, "No."
She had once been able to spar with others all night without resting. How could she be tired after moving for just a little while? If not for the fact that one could not be too indulgent, she could also have stayed in bed with Pei Yin…
Ahem, she could not put it that way.
Ling Qingyue wore a strange expression as she opened one eye to glance at Pei Yin, then quickly shut it again.
Pei Yin had been watching her the entire time and did not miss that sneaky look.
So she hooked a finger under Ling Qingyue's chin. "What are you thinking about? Why is your face red?"
Ling Qingyue naturally could not speak it aloud. She lied with righteous conviction: "I, I'm just hot."
As she spoke, she reached out to push aside the thin blanket covering her. A chill immediately met her upper body, and only then did Ling Qingyue realize she had not yet put on any clothes.
She opened her eyes to find Pei Yin's gaze roving inappropriately.
They had fooled around for so long, and although they had used magic to clean up, the marks on their bodies had not been removed. Pei Yin's body was covered with blooming blossoms from her nibbling, and her own body had fared no better.
Ling Qingyue reached out and pulled the blanket back up, covering herself securely. Seeing that Pei Yin's shoulders were still exposed, along with her neck and chest laid completely bare before her eyes, Ling Qingyue tugged the blanket again, covering the two of them until only their heads remained visible.
An Immortal Venerable hidden under the blanket with only her head showing… Ling Qingyue actually found her somewhat adorable, and so she curved her eyes and smiled again.
Pei Yin saw her smile and lifted the corners of her own lips as well.
The two looked at each other and smiled, the reflection of the other's smiling face the only thing within their eyes.
Ling Qingyue's composure was not as strong as Pei Yin's; she was the first to avert her gaze. She shifted her legs and squeezed toward Pei Yin's side, then lifted her head and kissed Pei Yin's chin.
A very loud kiss, signifying how much she liked it.
Pei Yin had been smiling faintly the entire time, until she recalled something and her expression dimmed slightly. She asked quietly, "Qingyue, have you truly decided to cultivate Demonic Art?"
Ling Qingyue made a light hum from her nose: "If I don't cultivate it, I'll have to get struck by lightning. What I said to Qiu Feng was no lie. I really am very reluctant to part with my little life."
Ling Qingyue was not someone who feared death; Pei Yin knew that.
"Is it because of me?" Pei Yin asked.
Ling Qingyue could hear that little hint of smugness in her tone again.
In the past, if someone acted smug in front of her, Ling Qingyue would only outdo their smugness, but now she wanted to make Pei Yin even more satisfied.
"Immortal Venerable, that remark of yours…" She pretended to be amused and was about to deny it, only to change tack at the very end, "…is far too accurate."
Pei Yin's expression visibly paused, and then she stared at Ling Qingyue intently.
Ling Qingyue tilted her head and looked at her: "Happy?"
Pei Yin's heart stirred beyond measure. Unable to restrain herself, she lowered her head and kissed her.
This was not a dream. She could not dream up a Ling Qingyue like this.
After a whole night of absurdity, neither of them had slept.
It was not until Ling Qingyue reached out and grabbed the bed frame, stirring the bed curtain, and a bright beam of light dazzled her eye, that she realized it was already dawn.
"The… the last time." Ling Qingyue spoke in fits and starts, her voice soft as water.
"Alright."
Pei Yin's voice came from below, mingled with wet sounds and sounding somewhat muffled.
Half an incense stick's time later.
The tightly shut door was pushed open. Ling Qingyue's legs were still somewhat weak.
She had originally intended to seek out Qiu Feng to ask about cultivating Demonic Art, but she had not expected that the moment she opened the door, the person she was looking for was already there.
Qiu Feng sat in the courtyard. Who knew how long she had been waiting.
Only upon hearing the door open did she shift her gaze over, her eyes carrying a hint of reproach and stifled resentment.
Ling Qingyue raised an eyebrow.
This person was truly single-minded.
She had already made everything clear. Why was Qiu Feng still wearing this expression? She would cultivate Demonic Art, no need to suffer the Lightning Tribulation, and Qiu Feng would not need to sacrifice herself. A matter of mutual benefit. How wonderful.
"Let's go."
Hearing Pei Yin's voice behind her, Ling Qingyue finally lifted her leg and walked toward the courtyard. Whether it was because the stride she took casually was too large, this step was truly awkward.
Fortunately, Pei Yin reached out from behind to support her waist, which also propped up her dignity.
"Do you need me to hold your hand?" Pei Yin asked.
"No."
Ling Qingyue's ears burned with heat. After saying this, as if to prove herself, she strode forward boldly.
Before even sitting down, Ling Qingyue asked: "Where's Liuli?"
Qiu Feng's expression soured further.
Liuli was ignoring her and would not even let her into the room.
Ling Qingyue caught a glimpse of Qiu Feng's frustrated and bottled-up look and decided not to press further. She cut straight to the point: "We were originally planning to seek out the Demon Lord, but we did not expect the Demon Lord to come to us first. May I ask what business the Demon Lord has?"
A little courtesy first; after all, Yu Liuli was not here right now, and Qiu Feng was still the Demon Lord.
Qiu Feng sneered: "Did you seek me out because you still have unanswered questions?"
"No." Ling Qingyue spoke calmly. "I need you to tell me how to cultivate Demonic Art."
Qiu Feng froze for a moment but quickly returned to normal.
She looked at Ling Qingyue with a complicated expression: "Are you truly going to cultivate Demonic Art?"
Ling Qingyue nodded.
"I can teach you."
Qiu Feng seemed to ponder for a long while. She glanced at Ling Qingyue, then looked at Pei Yin.
"Take Liuli and me out of the Great Wilderness."
This was something only Pei Yin was capable of doing.
Pei Yin did not hesitate much: "I can do that."
She had the ability to bring them out, and she had the confidence to fight them back in again.
Although Qiu Feng's relationship with Yu Liuli was anything but ordinary, and Ling Qingyue trusted Yu Liuli, that did not mean Qiu Feng was a trustworthy person. The Demon Race was greedy and combative by nature, and Qiu Feng, as a Demon Lord, would have no shortage of blood on her hands.
Ling Qingyue was somewhat surprised that Pei Yin could agree so readily, but soon she was no longer surprised.
Pei Yin stretched out her hand. Suspended above her palm was an extremely fine golden chain. She lifted her gaze to look at Qiu Feng: "Going out is possible, but you will wear this."
A chain…
She, the dignified Demon Lord, actually had to wear a chain.
Qiu Feng slammed the table and stood up: "Impossible!"
Pei Yin's tone was cold: "Then you won't be going out."
Qiu Feng narrowed her eyes: "Then I won't teach the Demonic Art either. You may know of the Seven-Aperture Exquisite Heart, but you probably don't know how to activate it. Ling Qingyue's Demonic Markings were forced out by me using the Seven-Aperture Exquisite Heart. Normally, they're well hidden, aren't they?"
"If she does not activate the other half of the Seven-Aperture Exquisite Heart, she can't sense the Demon Race bloodline, and she won't be able to cultivate Demonic Art either."
Qiu Feng leaned her upper body forward and grinned as she looked at Pei Yin: "Immortal Venerable, you can't threaten me."
Pei Yin hooked the corner of her lips, her eyes practically freezing over with frost: "So, you are threatening me?"
And using Ling Qingyue to threaten her at that.
Ling Qingyue's heart jumped. How had Pei Yin even developed killing intent?
Before she could speak up to mediate, another person's voice arrived first.
"Threatening what?"
Hearing Yu Liuli's voice, Qiu Feng's murderous aura vanished cleanly in an instant. She turned around, pleasantly surprised: "Liuli…"
Yu Liuli did not spare her a single glance, brushing right past her and coming to sit beside Ling Qingyue.
"Qingyue, what were you talking about?" Yu Liuli spoke in a gentle, soft voice.
Ling Qingyue looked at the forlorn and aggrieved Qiu Feng, then recounted their entire conversation in full detail to Yu Liuli, causing Qiu Feng to keep stealing glares at her.
Ling Qingyue did not care. Who told her to speak to Pei Yin that way just now? She naturally stood on Pei Yin's side and protected Pei Yin.
After hearing everything, Yu Liuli finally shifted her gaze toward Qiu Feng.
Before she could even speak, Qiu Feng hastily thrust her hand in front of Pei Yin: "I'll wear it! I'll wear it! When did I ever say I wouldn't wear it?!"
After speaking, she looked at Yu Liuli ingratiatingly.
Yu Liuli did not look at her anymore.
Pei Yin tapped the chain against Qiu Feng's wrist. Golden patterns wound around it in circles, three circles in total, three layers of binding.
"Your purpose in leaving the Great Wilderness is to seek revenge against Lou Wudu. I won't interfere with that. But if you stir up trouble out there, I will act and kill you." Pei Yin's words carried no mercy.
Qiu Feng knew well that Pei Yin had this capability. She assured her: "Of course. I have no thought or care to spare for other people or other matters."
Ling Qingyue gave Yu Liuli an appreciative look.
It really had to be Liuli. Otherwise, how could Qiu Feng be so agreeable? They might have even had to fight it out.
Qiu Feng took the initiative to bring out a sealed scroll and pushed it toward Ling Qingyue.
Ling Qingyue picked it up and began reading.
It was indeed different from the cultivation methods of Immortal Realm cultivators. Cultivators cultivated Spiritual Qi and gathered it in the meridians, while Demonic Art involved absorbing the Turbid Qi of the world to nourish the soul, causing body and soul to merge, thereby absorbing Turbid Qi more rapidly. This was also why the Demon Race had unified body and soul.
Body and soul merging…
In a flash, inspiration struck Ling Qingyue.
This physical body's appearance did not match her soul. After cultivating Demonic Art, her soul naturally would not change. Then wouldn't her physical body revert to her original appearance!
