VBNWDW - Chapter 155

Chapter 155

Despite their good relationship, the two of them occasionally argued. Xi Zhoulu refused to yield, and the one she'd spoiled refused to be the first to back down.

This time, their fight led to them living apart for two straight days. Xi Zhoulu used work as an excuse to sleep at the office, while the other woman holed up in her room, not stepping out for two days, turning it into a childish squabble.

It wasn't until the butler called to say that the madam was feeling unwell, as if her Susceptibility Period was approaching.

Only then did Xi Zhoulu drop everything and rush home.

Just as her wheelchair reached the entrance, a courier rushed over with a delivery.

It was a package containing items Xi Zhoulu had carefully selected—in addition to medication to alleviate the Susceptibility Period, there were some… special things she had stumbled upon and ordered without a second thought.

The butler signed for the delivery and immediately handed it to Xi Zhoulu. "She seemed to be feeling unwell last night," he said in a low voice, "but the madam held it in and gave herself an inhibitor. The maid who went in to clean only found out this morning."

When the two of them fought, a whole group of people worried.

The old butler's brow was furrowed in concern. He looked like he wanted to say something but held his tongue, merely watching as Xi Zhoulu's back vanished behind the closing elevator doors.

The wheelchair rolled unhurriedly over the intricately patterned carpet, reaching the bedroom door after a moment.

Xi Zhoulu raised her hand to knock. After a few taps with no response, she had no choice but to push the door open herself.

The room was dim. Heavy curtains were drawn tight, blocking the daylight. A faint, weak trace of Ecuadorian Red Wine Rose lingered in the air, only to be instantly whisked away by the ventilation fan.

She closed the door and wheeled herself further into the room.

The woman nestled in the soft bed was oblivious. She clutched the corner of a pillow, curled into a ball. The thin blanket had slipped down, barely covering her waist and revealing a silk nightgown. The sheer fabric, damp with sweat, clung to her body, outlining every exquisite curve.

An S-Class Alpha's keen senses were completely useless against their marked Omega. Even when the wheelchair stopped right beside the bed, the woman only let out a muffled whimper.

Xi Zhoulu's pale, gray-blue eyes shifted from the figure on the bed to the floor. The discarded wrapper of an inhibitor was conspicuous. Luo Yueqing must have felt unwell and given herself another shot.

Pale fingers tapped rhythmically against the wheelchair's armrest. Her expression, hidden in the shadows, was unreadable, revealing only the sharp, tense line of her jaw.

The other woman had no idea what was coming. Perhaps sensing her Omega's presence, the heat that had previously subsided was rekindled by the faint scent of charcoal, sweeping over her once more.

"Ngh…" Luo Yueqing let out a muffled sound, her bent legs unconsciously rubbing together with a rustle of fabric.

The woman beside the bed finally seemed to snap out of her thoughts, letting out a sudden, soft scoff.

Instead of offering the tender care she usually would to soothe the Alpha's restless, chaotic pheromones, she began opening the package.

She tossed aside the unnecessary items and took out something that was in an opaque, sealed bag.

First, a pair of black leather cuffs. CEO Xi had thoughtfully considered that metal might chafe if she struggled, so she had specifically chosen a softer material. The strap connecting them was extremely short—less than ten centimeters—forcing the wearer's hands to be clasped together, fingers interlocked.

The other item was stranger: a black sphere with straps on either side, designed to be tied behind the head.

Xi Zhoulu unhurriedly examined both items for a while before taking them to the bathroom to wash and disinfect them.

By the time she returned, the blanket had fallen completely to the floor.

Perhaps sensing the other's scent, Luo Yueqing unconsciously moved closer to the edge of the bed, whimpering a few times.

Which only made things more convenient for a certain someone.

Her hands were bound. The black ball was pressed against her lips. A gentle squeeze to her jaw prompted her to open her mouth and bite down. The straps pulled taut against her cheeks, holding the ball in place.

Luo Yueqing frowned. The items, still cool from being washed, felt cold against her skin.

Her long lashes fluttered, and a moment later, her eyes opened.

Luo Yueqing was dazed. She stared blankly for a long time before becoming fully awake. She was about to speak when she realized she could only make muffled sounds.

"Mmph—"

The Alpha, so used to being the one in control, looked utterly bewildered.

But Xi Zhoulu didn't answer, a hint of satisfaction on her face as she looked at her handiwork.

At some point, the scent of burning charcoal, like a blazing fire, began to fill the room. The usually subtle hint of chestnut grew stronger, coiling around the Alpha's ankles and creeping its way up her body.

Inhibitors had little effect on a marked Alpha. She had only been able to control it before because she had been thoroughly sated, so her heat hadn't been severe.

But if the Omega she had marked was nearby, all resistance was futile.

Luo Yueqing struggled against her bonds, but they only seemed to tighten.

Regardless of what had happened before, the Alpha's mind was now filled with nothing but the woman beside her. She let out a muffled whimper, uncontrollably pressing closer to the edge of the bed, trying to get nearer to Xi Zhoulu, even if it meant she might fall off.

The nape of her neck was slick with sweat, strands of hair clinging to her skin as she moved, creating a slightly disheveled picture.

But Luo Yueqing couldn't be bothered with that anymore. Biting the small black ball, she mumbled, "Touch… touch me."

Her beautiful, almond-shaped eyes glistened, shimmering like jewels about to shatter as they pleaded with a silent, pitiful appeal.

Her nightgown slipped off her shoulders as she moved, barely covering her at all.

Xi Zhoulu paused, then finally reached out her hand to Luo Yueqing.

Having just returned from the office, she was still formally dressed. She had only taken off her suit jacket; the black shirt underneath was buttoned to the top. Her satin-like hair was immaculate. Even sitting in a wheelchair, she didn't lose an ounce of her refined elegance.

The hand she extended was immaculate. Her nails were neatly trimmed, her knuckles well-defined. The half-moons at the base of her nails seemed to glow with the faint luster of jade, complementing the ring on her finger. It was a hand as perfect as a museum piece.

But its recipient was in no mood for admiration. She pressed her cheek against the back of that hand, seeking its coolness.

The black ball repeatedly brushed against the back of Xi Zhoulu's hand, creating an odd sensation.

Xi Zhoulu's eyes darkened. She deliberately curled her fingers, cupping the cheek in her palm.

But the other person felt it wasn't enough. Having had a taste, she wanted more. Or rather, the surrounding pheromones were growing stronger, making it harder and harder for her to suppress her instincts.

She whimpered and leaned closer, looking at the other with her damp, almond-shaped eyes, like a little fox caught in the rain, looking utterly pitiful.

Xi Zhoulu paused, unable to stop her heart from softening. She said, "Come here."

Her legs weren't bound, after all. Xi Zhoulu wondered how the normally clever and cunning fox had become so dense. Perhaps the heat had drowned her ability to think.

At her words, Luo Yueqing finally reacted. She gave her wrists another surreptitious tug, but it was useless. Resigned, she had no choice but to get off the bed.

Xi Zhoulu watched it all, the key clutched in her palm digging into her skin. She made no move to put it down.

"Kneel," Xi Zhoulu commanded in a low voice, patting the armrests of her wheelchair.

And so, the other woman obeyed.

Fortunately, the wheelchair was sturdy enough that it didn't so much as wobble in protest under the weight of two people. Outside, it was high noon. Bright sunlight tried to force its way through the curtains but was held at bay.

But the room was still a bit brighter than before, at least enough to see the other person clearly.

The barely-there nightgown still clung on. Xi Zhoulu made no move to remove it, deliberately preserving the image. With the hand that wasn't holding the key, she began to clumsily imitate Luo Yueqing's usual moves.

She tucked a stray lock of hair behind Luo Yueqing's ear, then let her fingertips trail slowly downward, eliciting a strange sensation from beneath the thin fabric.

An Alpha in the throes of her Susceptibility Period could hardly bear such a provocation. Her bound hands hooked around Xi Zhoulu's neck as she pressed herself closer, tilting her head for a kiss, only to be blocked by the ball gag.

"Mmph…"

She let out a dissatisfied grunt.

But the person who always indulged her paid no mind, continuing downward at her own pace.

Her stomach tightened with every breath, the fabric of her nightgown bunching and wrinkling.

Their pheromones blended together, gradually becoming inseparable, transforming into a new scent.

Luo Yueqing couldn't help but slide down, which was exactly what Xi Zhoulu intended.

The ring was pulled off, along with the key, and placed on the bedside table.

The black ball was bitten down on, muffling all sounds.

Xi Zhoulu's left hand gripped Luo Yueqing's waist, her right hand disappearing beneath the silk nightgown.

The wheelchair finally let out a creak, but neither of them noticed as the intense stimulation continued.

It seemed someone walked by outside, probably the butler and maids worried about their argument. This was the first time they had lived apart because of a fight, so everyone was naturally concerned.

But the sounds of fighting they feared didn't come from inside, which relieved them, and they quietly left.

The ventilation fan was still working hard, but it couldn't stop the pheromones from spreading and filling the entire room.

Xi Zhoulu felt her palm become soaked, as if she had cupped a handful of water. But she had no time to wipe it away. The person on her was sinking lower and lower, her waist as slender as a flower stem that could snap with a gentle pinch, twisting constantly, desperately needing relief.

Xi Zhoulu was happy to oblige. Her fingertips found a certain nub, and the slightest pressure sent shudders through the other woman's body.

Shallow teeth marks indented the black ball. Her suit trousers were crumpled and becoming damp, and the wheelchair began to creak sharply.

Xi Zhoulu tilted her head back slightly, her gaze meeting the other's. Her pale complexion complemented her light gray-blue eyes. Even in a moment like this, she retained the refined air of her noble upbringing. But the movements of her hand were decisive, never pausing, creating a series of wet sounds.

Luo Yueqing couldn't stop shaking. Her hair fell, covering her gradually clearing eyes. Her bound wrists began to pull, until she caught sight of something beside her out of the corner of her eye.

"Ngh!" Her voice suddenly rose, and even the wheelchair shook with it.

Luo Yueqing's body suddenly tensed. The teeth marks on the black ball deepened. Then she collapsed against the other person as if she had lost all her strength, her breathing ragged.

Xi Zhoulu raised a hand to comfort her, stroking her back again and again.

The sunlight outside reached its brightest point, making the room half-lit. The shadows on the floor melded into one.

Just when she thought it was over, Luo Yueqing suddenly sat up and quickly grabbed for something beside them.

Xi Zhoulu wanted to stop her but only managed to slap the armrest of the wheelchair hard.

In an instant, the tables had turned.

The key and the leather cuffs fell away, along with the small black ball.

Xi Zhoulu was scooped up and tossed onto the bed.

"Hiss…" The Omega tried to resist, but she received the same treatment. The items were now on her.

Her bound, pale wrists were pinned above her head.

The damp black ball was bitten down on again, the teeth marks from before still visible.

"Xi Zhoulu…" Luo Yueqing propped herself up with one hand, her long hair sliding forward, the ends brushing against the other's cheek.

"You are so done for," came the furious, teeth-gritted voice. Luo Yueqing had finally remembered she was the Alpha, and she was about to aggressively exact her revenge.

Xi Zhoulu was a little uncomfortable. She tilted her head back to adjust but was still impatient, frowning slightly as if to show her disapproval of Luo Yueqing's words.

And so the Alpha was provoked. She tugged at the other's collar, pulling the black shirt open. The veins on her pale skin were clear, and her half-closed eyes were veiled with a mist of moisture.

The key was thrown far away, along with the suit pants.

"How did you even think of this stuff?" Luo Yueqing was both angry and annoyed.

But the other person just turned her head to the side.

Luo Yueqing's lips twitched. She wasn't in a hurry. She would find the answer in her own way.

The overly thin legs were hoisted onto her shoulder, then raised high.

"Xi Zhoulu, you're done for," she swore again, vowing to make the other woman understand what an Alpha's Susceptibility Period truly meant.

Their breathing grew chaotic. No further preparation was needed; she entered with ease.

Outside, a strong wind began to blow, rattling against the windows.

The garden full of roses was hit by the same strong wind. The carefully tended roses were blown to one side, their petals falling and being swept away by the wind.

The gardener watering the flowers was helpless against it and could only sigh, letting the water spray up and soak the entire garden.

Further away, the sky was clear and blue, the outlines of the mountains becoming distinct.

Later, a maid on the first floor looked up, the worry in her eyes not diminishing. She tilted her head and asked the butler if they should still prepare food for the day.

But the butler seemed relieved. He shrugged and said that things would probably be a bit late today, and that aside from delivering meals, no one should go upstairs to disturb them.

The maid scratched her head, about to ask a question, when the phone next to them rang.

The butler hurried over in a few quick steps to answer it.

The house phone wasn't connected to the outside line; only CEO Xi and the madam on the third floor would use it to give instructions to the staff on the first floor.

The maid couldn't help but prick up her ears, but she only heard a few faint words.

"Contra… buy more… ceptives…"

Before the maid could understand, she saw the butler rush out the door.

As for the third floor, someone was sobbing and panting, trying to escape. Even with the gag, sounds still leaked from the corners of her mouth. Her weak legs kicked against the sheets, only for her to be dragged back by the ankle.

"Xi Zhoulu, I told you you were done for."

Someone repeated through gritted teeth.

Xi Zhoulu shook her head several times, trying to earn the other's mercy, but it had no effect. Her vision went white, her ears were ringing. Certain sensations didn't weaken with time but instead intensified with each repetition, until finally, the lightest touch would make her tremble uncontrollably.

How many times had it been?

She could no longer remember.

The bedsheets were stained a dark color. A teardrop trembled at the corner of her eye, falling and disappearing into her hair the next time she tensed and arched back.

A few more teeth marks appeared on the black ball, bitten deep into it.

Outside, the sun fell from its highest point, quietly hiding behind the mountains. Then night fell, blanketing the entire city.

And the things that had been thoughtfully placed outside the door, so as not to disturb them by knocking, remained untouched.

The sounds from inside the room continued. Someone was finally able to speak, begging over and over in a hoarse voice, but to no avail.
