Synopsis
Interstellar Colonel Jiang Xun had just perished alongside the Insect Mother when she was immediately reborn inside a holographic game, becoming an NPC poisoned with a rare toxin and on the verge of death.
The game elements were familiar interstellar tropes. Thinking she might still be able to contact her friends and family, Jiang Xun felt she could manage to scrape by and survive. The only problem was her debt of thirty thousand; to cure the poison, she had to keep making money.
So, she turned to fighting in underground black market matches for cash, utilizing the original host's "Gacha" ability in an attempt to land a lucky pull and sweep the arena.
Good news: She got a lucky pull, and it was a top-tier SSR card.
Better news: The person she drew was her childhood friend - her fake girlfriend. Jiang Xun was incredibly familiar with her abilities, and since her childhood friend was filthy rich, she might help Jiang Xun escape her destitute state.
